What is Spotify and how much does it cost?

Spotify is a music streaming service that costs $9.99/month for the standard package, but there are other tiers at lower prices.

The details of Spotify pricing are as follows:

Premium

Unlimited skips, no ads, offline access to playlists, and high-quality audio. This costs $9.99 per month. You can download it for free from our website here.

Spotify Family

Unlimited music and high-quality audio while on the go or at home with up to 5 devices (including phones, tablets, computers, etc.) for $14.99 per month if you have 1 student in your household; it costs an additional $5 per each other device beyond the first one in your household.

Premium Family: Unlimited skips, no ads, offline access to playlists for up to 6 people in your family plan. High-quality audio is included for a total of $14.99 per month.

Students

Unlimited music and high-quality audio while on the go or at school for a maximum of 4 devices for $4.99 per month.

The premium for Students: For use while studying only with high-quality audio for $4.99 per month on 1 device.

This tier is available only in selected universities and colleges within the United States through a partnership between Spotify and participating colleges/universities/institutions currently at around 100 schools. It has all the same features as Premium except that it costs just $4.99 per month instead of $9.99 per month, perfect for student needs!

2 Listeners

Unlimited music and high-quality audio while using up to 2 devices simultaneously for $9.99 per month, or if you have a family plan, you can use it with an unlimited number of household members for $14.99 per month instead.

As you can see, there are multiple pricing tiers for Spotify memberships to fit many different needs. If you are planning on paying monthly for Spotify, it’s usually cheaper to go with the standard price of $9.99 per month if you don’t mind hearing ads every once in a while or using other tiers that let you share your account at lower costs with other people living under the same roof as well as students who’ll get discounts depending on where they’re studying!
